I replaced the front and rear sway bars on the forester. The rear was always going to get done as I think they are way under size for any type of performance. The front I upgraded from 20 to 22mm as it had done over 300K so deserved a rest. Rear I went with the adjustable and set it to hard ( 23mm ) the soft setting is like using a 21mm, middle is 22mm. As far as I could research you are better off having it stiffer in the rear I went with Whiteline for both front and back www.whiteline.com.auI got both on ebay form these guys stores.ebay.com.au/onlineperformanceautos/They have great sales from time to time so if you are not in a hurry keep an eye on them Rear install was pretty easy but in hind sight I should have done the end links. I did weld up the stock mounts to mate them heaps stronger. Front install was trickier and I had to unbolt one side of the chassis arm to get the bar out and back in. I think I even loosened the other side but didnt remove it. The rear gave me the biggest result and a noticeable improvement If on a budget I would worry more about replacing the rear www.Whiteline.com.au and www.onlineperformanceautos.com FTW
